As I was deciding what to wear today I was intrigued by the fact that I have stopped buying black. I love how much color is popping into my wardrobe. Even throughout the winter I have been wearing color. Do you pretty much stick with black or have you been branching out as well? Fashion Friday #8

Since it is pretty clear that I love clothes for myself it is a pretty good assumption that I love buying clothes for my children as well. So when I learned that a certain company was creating a children's line I was overly excited. And the fact that I would be able to afford it was just the icing on the cake!! I am sure you are already familiar with the ever so trendy yet totally affordably Forever 21. They now have a children's line!!! Does it really get any better?? Here a few pieces I am wanting for my kids:

Fashion Friday #6

With all the grey skies hovering over us the last few days, I am inspired to brighten things up a bit. I have suddenly fallen in love with the color coral. I think it great paired now with dark denim or grey denim and then in the spring/summer with white. And of course adding lots of silver and turquoise Stella & Dot jewels will complete the whole ensemble!!

Just received the Boden catalog in the mail today. I love the kids line they offer but hadn't really ever paid much attention to the women's wear. With that being said,  I think I may have dog earred about 1/2 of the catalog. Price points are along the lines of JCrew. Fashion Friday #4

For some reason I am drawn into the whole safari/army look for this Spring. I like that I can use that army green as a canvas for really bright colors or just be simple and mix it with black. I also like that it can be a great late winter/spring/summer carry over piece. So these little beauties may be making there way into my closet very soon (since I can wear them for a while it really drops down the cost/per wear factor!):

Thinking of your New Year's plans and what to wear?? We are going casual and staying in. But it doesn't mean I can't dream of doing something fancy!! I love checking out CUSP when I am looking for inspiration to recreate looks from other sources (either from what I already own or at Forever 21). J is for JUMPSUIT. Yes I am going there!! I am intrigued by the concept, I think I wore one or two back in the late eighties, although since I have young kids I do have flashbacks of onesies. But I am hoping I can get past all that so I can get myself into these:
